#18 Art I Saved This Week | Supporter Edition

Hello all ❤️

I hope you have had a lovely week. This week's edition includes a plethora of art, from a visual light show that's raised over $5,000 for LA wildfire relief efforts, to an array of stunning paintings and mixed media works.

In the past week, I've published videos in collaboration with the wonderful glass artist Carol Milne, the vibrant painter Raymie Iadevaia, and the nostalgia filled works of Stella Winter, along with a retrospective on the brilliant David Lynch.

You can catch up on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube 📹

I so appreciate your continued support of this newsletter! 2025 is off to a really exciting start and I'm so excited about the projects I'm lining up for the year ahead. This week, I'm experimenting with adding my commentary in written form. I hope you enjoy reading it just as much as listening! ❤️

I'm a sucker for airbrush paintings and Sean Wadey's are no exemption. In many of his pieces, his subject is entirely abstract, blurred, obscured, and hiding in plain sight with the soft flow of airbrushed acrylic on polyester. Here though, we see two dice and I'm a little bit in love with the blue. However, he is also no stranger to sculpture, with a number of works in his Turbo Vase series. This collection of hand cast vessels in glazed porcelain exist in his universe but offer a unique feel.
