This week I found inspiration in roaring ceramics, hair grown as a throne, star-speckled fingers, fig skins, and a pink candle held in its own ceramic home. Its walls crackled like plaster, and I felt the Autumn calling to me.

Think more deeply about framing. Inspired by Ania Rekas, whose cat portrait on ceramic is framed by an elaborate lattice of clay, or Esme and Bird, whose wall sconses frame the warmth of candlelight. Either framing a piece of your own, or perhaps a piece of art in your home, push the role of a frame beyond the functional.
