Exciting news! I just launched We’re Not Making Enough Art: free art guides, created by working artists, to help more people make art at home, in classrooms, and in craft clubs.
Our first guide is Dansy Thomas, known for her whimsical paper-clay sculptures. She shows us how to make paper-clay, create a cardboard sculpture, and bring a pencil holder to life.
Create a piece of art inspired by a time period, like Cake Opera Co’s icing armour. Fictional or non-fictional. Embrace the visual language of the time, as if your work lives there.
